Experiências Culturais em Londres

O ano de 2022 foi um verdadeiro divisor de águas, em que tomei importantes decisões em relação à minha vida profissional, me dedicando de fato em assumir a Bibi Sarmento e ter a BONCHIC como meu principal guia.

Uma destas decisões foi pela minha certificação em Londres pela Miding Manners International, uma das maiores referências em estudo e ensino de boas maneiras do mundo! E sim, boas maneiras, que é o que chamamos de etiqueta por aqui, mas isso é assunto para outro post.

Minha imersão foi de 2 meses, começando com um curso intensivo de inglês, na sequência três semanas de curso na Miding Manners International, ambos em Londres, e terminou com as últimas semanas de férias em Portugal.

Toda essa experiência foi de uma riqueza absurda, pois além do conteúdo teórico, vivíamos práticas principalmente durante as refeições. Íamos a restaurantes que eram referências da culinária mundial para entendermos os comportamentos a mesa de diferentes culturas, afinal, a proposta da escola é uma educação relacionada às boas maneiras no mundo inteiro e não somente focada em Londres.

Nestas vivências, conheci lugares incríveis, de qualidade impecável e é sobre cada um deles que quero contar aqui para vocês. A proposta destes lugares, não é somente entregar a culinária local, mas toda a experiência, que envolve o ambiente, o serviço, a composição de louças e talheres e tudo que envolver este momento.

Aubaine – Culinária Francesa

O Aubaine é uma rede de restaurantes que tem seu menu inspirado na culinária francesa, combinando o tradicional com o moderno, trazendo criações bem originais. Ah, e claro, prezando sempre pela harmonização com um bom vinho ou espumante. Todas as unidades estão localizadas em pontos importantes de Londres, cercados de atrações culturais. A proposta é exatamente esse mix de culturas.

Samad Al Iraqi – Culinária Árabe

Ah, e claro, prezando sempre pela harmonização com um bom vinho ou espumante. Todas as unidades estão localizadas em pontos importantes de Londres, cercados de atrações culturais. A proposta é exatamente esse mix de culturas.

Milestone Hotel – Chá Inglês

O Milestone é um Hotel, mas tem a sua parte gastronômica aberta para hóspedes e não hóspedes. E nela você vive a cultura do chá inglês preservada da melhor forma, ainda mais para honrar sua privilegiada localização, bem em frente ao Palácio e Jardins de Kensington.

O ambiente é de muito bom gosto e sofisticação. Você pode provar as opções da grande variedade de chás, combinado com os deliciosos doces servidos, ou até uma taça de Lanson Champagne, detentora de uma autorização real da Corte da Inglaterra desde 1900.

É tudo impecável. A orientação é que haja a reserva da sua mesa pelo site, para que a qualidade do serviço seja mantida em sua visita.

Como Garden – Culinária Italiana

O Como Garden é um restaurante italiano que tem o seu nome e decoração inspiradas no Lago Como que fica na região da Lombardia, no Norte da Itália, com referência principalmente aos seus jardins. O ambiente já nos leva a esta viagem cultural, e os sabores vêm para complementar esse sentimento. No menu são reunidos os pratos mais populares de cada região da Itália, com a programação de 3 pratos por pessoa, para uma experiência culinária mais ampla. E tudo é de extrema qualidade, com massas frescas preparadas à mão diariamente pelo chef de cozinha que, inclusive, é italiano.

O Min Jiang é um restaurante da culinária chinesa, localizado no terraço do lindíssimo Royal Garden Hotel, o espetáculo já começa pela vista para o Kensington. Nós fomos no almoço, mas tenho conhecimento que aos jantares a vista é ainda mais especial, com as luzes de Londres com vista privilegiada.

Os cuidados para uma experiência mais tradicional possível, vão desde a deliciosa gastronomia, a delicadeza da decoração e ambientação, a ausência dos talheres utilizando sempre hashis, as louças originalmente chinesas e a refeição que acompanhava o típico chá.

Uma experiência única e incrível

Comptoir Libanais – Comida Libanesa

O Comptoir Libanais foi criado por um libanês que aos 18 anos foi à Londres e se apaixonou pela cidade, e desde então teve o sonho de abrir ali um restaurante.

Assim como a cidade inglesa lhe trouxe esse sentimento, a intenção ao criar o seu restaurante é que as pessoas se apaixonassem pelo Oriente Médio, com seus sabores e sua hospitalidade generosa. E todo dia é assim. Você sente na gastronomia, no ambiente, no serviço, o carinho ali depositado, para que esta se torne a sua melhor experiência junto à cultura libanesa. Foi encantador.

The Ivy – Brasserie

Seguindo a cultura de uma Brasserie, o The Ivy oferece em sua culinária desde clássicos britânicos à criações com inspiração na cultura asiática, além de deliciosas opções veganas e vegetarianas, com o conceito de atender e satisfazer a todos os clientes, dentro de suas intolerâncias e exigências.

Por suas unidades serem próximas a grandes pontos turísticos da região, o restaurante garante a disponibilidade de mesas sem reserva, para que aqueles que decidam conhecer no impulso não fiquem desassistidos.

AKIRA Restaurant – Culinária Japonesa

O AKIRA Restaurant já surpreende pelo local em que está instalado, a Japan House London é uma casa da cultura japonesa em Londres que reúne diversas experiências desta cultura em um só ambiente, com arte, design, inovações, tecnologia e gastronomia pela qual o premiado com a estrela Michelin, AKIRA, é o responsável.

Especificamente a experiência no AKIRA, inicia pela hospitalidade que segue o estilo japonês omotenashi, continua pela delicadeza da seleção dos objetos à mesa, adquiridos pelo próprio Chef do local com artesãos de todo o Japão, e é concluída com uma deliciosa diversidade de pratos típicos, com produtos frescos e sazonais, em que muitos são preparados nas chamas de robata (grelhador a carvão).

É um passeio completo pelas sensações, o que lhe faz merecedor do seu reconhecimento. Vale muito a visita, eu frequentei por duas vezes durante a minha viagem, e voltarei sempre que houver a oportunidade.

Ishbilia – Culinária Libanesa

O Ishbilia conquistou Londres com as delícias da culinária libanesa, com o título de ser o melhor e mais autêntico restaurante londrino neste nicho. Devido a qualidade e a variedade do menu, com mais de cem pratos para escolha do cliente, foi eleito pela Revista ‘Zagat’ o número um em todo o Reino Unido para a Vicência junto a gastronomia libanesa, nos últimos três anos consecutivos.

O restaurante é formado por diferentes ambientes, permitindo que o visitante desfrute a deliciosa gastronomia no contexto do seu momento, em uma reunião de trabalho, um encontro luxuoso ou um jantar apenas descontraído e confortável.

Mesmo com conceitos diferentes, todos os ambientes possuem decorações em veludos e sedas confortáveis ​​em cores variadas que refletem a atmosfera e o caráter da suntuosa culinária.

Londres está recheada de experiências de diferentes culturas, e sou muito grata por ter vivido tantas delas. E ainda há muito mais para lhe contar!
